My Community Overview

My Community is the set of networking and support features in Callings.ai: peer Community Support, matched Professional Associations, local Events, external Recruiters, one-on-one Coffee Meetups, and a referral program that rewards you for inviting friends. It turns the loneliest part of a job search into a shared one, giving you people to lean on and a structured way to grow your network.

You do not have to job search alone. These features connect you with other members who are going through the same search, with organizations and events tailored to your background, and with friends you can invite along for the ride. Each one is reached directly from the main navigation menu; there is no separate hub to visit first.

The modern job hunt is long, often isolating, and overwhelmingly driven by relationships. Most successful searches involve networking, yet most people do not know how to ask for help or where to find the right rooms to be in. My Community solves both problems:

The Networking Features

Each of these is its own feature with its own page, reached from the main navigation menu. Use as many or as few as you like.

Community Support

Connect one-on-one with other members to help and be helped on specific needs (an introduction, a resume review, interview practice, advice on an offer). You post what you need support with and browse what other members need; everything stays anonymous until both people agree, at which point Callings introduces you by email so you can connect directly. Learn more about Community Support.

Associations

A personalized list of professional associations matched to your resume and field, each with an honest, AI-generated Membership Fit Report and highlights for groups that run job boards or certifications. Learn more about Associations.

Events

A ranked list and a three-month calendar of career-relevant events near you, plus an AI Fit Report that tells you whether each event is worth your time and builds a plan for attending it. Learn more about Events.

Recruiters

A matched shortlist of external recruiters and search firms that place people in your field, each with the context to decide who is worth contacting and an AI-tailored email, LinkedIn message, and connection note ready to send. Learn more about Recruiters.

Coffee Meetups

An opt-in service that automatically introduces you to one well-matched member on a cadence you choose, for a relaxed 20 to 30 minute networking chat. Callings handles the matching and the warm intro. Learn more about Coffee Meetups.

Referral Program

Earn a free month for every friend who joins and gets set up, with no cap. Share a link, a drafted email, or a social post. Learn more about the Referral Program.

How It Fits the Bigger Picture

Callings.ai is built around a structured job-search workflow: understand yourself, find jobs, research them, tailor your materials, apply, network, and prepare for interviews. These community features are the human layer that runs alongside all of it.

Area What it adds to your search
Community Support One-on-one member help and warm introductions on demand
Associations Targeted groups, certifications, and niche job boards in your field
Events In-person and virtual rooms where the right people gather
Recruiters External headhunters who fill roles in your field before they are posted
Coffee Meetups Recurring one-on-one relationships without cold outreach
Referral Program Free subscription time as your network grows

Networking is the lever most candidates underuse. My Community makes it approachable by doing the matching, the introductions, and the preparation for you, so the part of the search that feels hardest becomes the part you look forward to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need a subscription to use these features?
A: You can explore them and see what is matched to you. Some actions, like generating AI reports or promoting your referral link, follow the same access rules as the rest of Callings.ai. Community Support, Coffee Meetups, and the Referral Program are open to all members.

Q: Is my identity hidden from other members?
A: Yes, by default. In Community Support your name and email stay private until both people agree to an introduction. In Coffee Meetups your details are shared only after you opt in. In the Referral Program, invitees who joined through your link appear to you as initials only.

Q: How are associations and events matched to me?
A: Both are personalized from your selected resume. Callings reads your background, roles, and keywords (and your location for events) and ranks organizations and events that fit. You can switch resumes to see different matches.

Q: Do I have to use everything?
A: No. Every one of these features is optional. Coffee Meetups is strictly opt-in, and you can skip any feature you do not want to use.

The hardest part of a job search is feeling like you are doing it alone. You are not. My Community gives you people to ask, rooms to walk into, and friends to bring along, so your search becomes a shared effort instead of a solo grind.
