The Public Campaign Page is the public face of your job search - the page that your network sees when they click your campaign link. This documentation explains the visitor experience so you understand exactly what happens when you share your campaign URL.
Every element on the page is designed around one goal: make it easy for people to help you. Visitors don't need a Callings.ai account. They don't need to log in. They just need your link.

When someone opens your campaign link, they land on a clean, professional page with your story and three clear ways to take action. The page is organized into two columns:
The main column tells your story from top to bottom:
- Campaign Banner — Your headline, tagline, location, and work arrangement
- Action Figure — Your AI-generated professional visual
- Campaign Story — Your narrative including:
- A bold opening hook
- What you're looking for (roles, company types, industries)
- Why you're worth helping
- Key career highlights
- A warm closing call-to-action
The sidebar keeps the action buttons visible as visitors scroll:
- Campaign Stats — Page visits, intros drafted, encouragements
- Action Buttons — Introduce, Give a Shoutout, Encourage
- Resume Preview — PDF thumbnail with download buttons and LinkedIn link
The action buttons are the heart of your campaign page. Each gives visitors a specific, easy way to help.
This is the most powerful action on the page. When a visitor clicks "Introduce [Your Name]", they enter a guided flow that generates a ready-to-send introduction message.

The visitor sees the question: "Who do you know that could help [Your Name]?" with the prompt: "Pick a role below and we'll draft a ready-to-send introduction message for you."
Below it, a set of suggested roles appears as clickable cards. These are generated by AI based on your target roles and campaign content. For example:
- AI Product Leaders
- Healthtech Founders
- Engineering Managers
- Recruiter
The visitor clicks a role card to select it and immediately begin generating the introduction.
At the bottom, a custom role input lets the visitor type any role that isn't listed (e.g., "A lead developer in AI") and submit it. This ensures visitors can always introduce you to someone relevant, even if the suggested roles don't cover their contact.

Once a role is selected, the AI generates a complete introduction message. The visitor sees "Your introduction is ready" with the prompt: "Review the message below, then choose how to send it."
The generated message includes:
- Subject line — Professional and specific (e.g., "Quick intro - [Your Name]"), editable
- Introduction body — A warm message explaining who you are, why you're worth meeting, and what you're looking for
- A personal note from you — Your personal introduction (configured in the Lend a Hand editor) appears below a separator, giving the recipient a direct message from you
The visitor can edit both the subject and body before sending. A role badge at the top right shows which role was selected, and a Change role link lets them go back and pick a different one.
Sending options:
| Action | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Open draft email | Opens their default email client with the subject and body pre-filled |
| Open LinkedIn messaging & paste | Copies the message to clipboard, then opens LinkedIn Messaging so they can paste and send |
| Copy Message | Copies the full message (including subject) to clipboard |
The visitor can also click Generate a different version to get a fresh version of the message with the same role.
What you see: Each time a visitor generates an introduction, your "Intros drafted" counter increments. You can track this in your analytics.
When a visitor clicks "Give a Shoutout", they enter a three-step flow that creates a social media post promoting you.

The visitor sees: "What would you highlight about [Your Name]?" with the prompt: "Jot down a few notes or bullet points. We'll turn them into a polished post for you."
If your campaign includes suggested angles (generated from your profile), they appear as hints - for example: "You may know [Your Name] through angles like AI Product Leaders, Healthtech Founders, or Engineering Managers."
Below, a text area lets the visitor write quick notes or bullet points about what they know and appreciate about you (e.g., "worked together at Acme Corp, led the data platform rebuild, great at rallying cross-functional teams"). These personal observations are woven into the generated post, making it feel authentic rather than generic.
Tip displayed to visitors: "No need to write full sentences. Quick notes are enough, we'll handle the rest."
The visitor clicks Continue to move to the next step.

The visitor sees: "Where would you like to post?" with the prompt: "Pick a platform and we'll draft the message for it."
Each platform is shown as a card with its tone description:
| Platform | Tone | Character Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Professional tone, 1-3 paragraphs | 3,000 | |
| X (Twitter) | Concise, punchy, hashtags encouraged | 280 |
| Personal, story-driven | 2,200 | |
| Threads | Conversational, casual tone | 500 |
| Other | Generic format for any platform | No limit |
The visitor clicks a platform card to select it, and the AI immediately generates the post.

The AI generates a platform-appropriate post and the visitor sees "Your draft is ready" with the prompt: "Review it and swap in any real examples you've witnessed. Personal touches make all the difference."
The generated post:
- Incorporates the visitor's personal notes from Step 1
- Includes your campaign URL so their followers can visit your page
- Fits within the platform's character limit (a live counter shows current length vs. limit)
- Uses the tone and style appropriate for the selected platform
A platform badge at the top right shows which platform was selected, and a Change platform link lets the visitor go back and pick a different one.
Posting options:
| Action | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Open LinkedIn & Paste | Copies the text, then opens LinkedIn's post composer (shown for LinkedIn) |
| Open X & Paste | Copies the text, then opens X's post composer (shown for X/Twitter) |
| Copy Message | Copies the post text to clipboard (shown for all platforms) |
The visitor can also click Generate a different version to create a fresh post.
What you see: Each social share increments your "Shoutouts" counter. If their post includes your campaign link, their followers can visit your page too, creating a viral loop.
The simplest action — a single click to show they're rooting for you.
When a visitor clicks "Encourage [Your Name]!":
- The counter increments immediately
- The button changes to show the encouragement count with a filled heart
- The encouragement counter updates
Below the buttons, a note reads: "Every connection helps. Thank you for encouraging [Your Name]'s job search."
What you see: The encouragement count is visible to all visitors, creating social proof. When someone sees that 15 people have already shown encouragement, they're more likely to take action too.
The Resume Download card in the sidebar gives visitors direct access to your resume.

A rendered preview of the first page of your resume is displayed directly on the page. This gives visitors an immediate sense of your background without needing to download anything.
| Button | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Download PDF | Opens a preview modal, then allows full PDF download |
| Download DOCX | Downloads your resume in Word format (if enabled) |
| My LinkedIn | Opens your LinkedIn profile in a new tab (if enabled) |
All downloads and clicks are tracked in your analytics.
Note: The resume shown is your primary resume from your profile. Make sure it's up-to-date before launching your campaign.
At the top of the sidebar, three counters show real-time engagement:
| Counter | Icon | What It Shows |
|---|---|---|
| Page visits | Eye | How many times your page has been viewed |
| Intros drafted | Edit | How many introduction messages visitors have generated |
| Encouragements | Heart | How many people have clicked Encourage |
These numbers are visible to all visitors, creating social proof that encourages action. When someone sees that others have already helped, they're more likely to help too.
At the bottom of every campaign page, a footer displays:
"[Your Name]'s Job Campaign is powered by Callings.ai"
With a "Create Your Own" button that links to the signup page. This is how visitors can discover the platform if they want to create their own campaign.
To help you understand the boundary between the editing and public experience:
- No editing controls — Visitors cannot modify any content
- No analytics details — Visitors see the three counters but not the detailed analytics dashboard
- No card management — No add, delete, reorder, or settings options
- No account required — Everything works without logging in
- No tracking disclosure — Visitor counts use privacy-safe fingerprinting (no cookies, no personal data stored)
Your campaign's public URL follows this format:
https://callings.ai/u/[your-handle]/campaign
Where [your-handle] is your personal handle, which you can find and customize in your Profile settings.
Start with your inner circle:
- Send the link directly to close friends, family, and colleagues with a personal message
- Ask them to introduce you or give you a shoutout on social media
- These first introductions often lead to the strongest referrals
Expand to your professional network:
- Share on LinkedIn with a post explaining your search
- Include the link in your LinkedIn "About" section
- Add it to your email signature
Go broader:
- Ask connections to share with their networks
- Post on relevant professional communities and Slack groups
- Include in alumni network communications
Your campaign page is designed to multiply your reach:
- You share the link with 50 people
- 5 of them share it on LinkedIn (each reaching 500+ connections)
- Some of those connections visit your page and share again
- Each visitor who generates an introduction sends it to a specific person — potentially reaching someone who's hiring
This is why the "Share on LinkedIn" button exists — every share exponentially expands your reach beyond people you know personally.
If you've set your campaign to Offline, visitors who click your link see a clean placeholder message indicating the page is currently unavailable. No campaign content is visible.
Common reasons to go offline:
- You've accepted a position
- You're making significant edits
- You want to pause your search temporarily
Simply toggle back to Online to reactivate — your content and analytics are preserved.
Q: Do visitors need a Callings.ai account to interact with my campaign?
A: No. Your campaign page is fully public. Anyone with the link can view your page, download your resume, generate introductions, share on social media, and show support — all without logging in.
Q: Can I see who visited my campaign page?
A: No. Visitor tracking uses privacy-safe fingerprinting. You can see aggregate metrics (total visits, unique visitors, intros generated) but not individual visitor identities.
Q: What happens when someone generates an introduction?
A: The visitor picks a role (from AI-suggested options or by typing their own), and the AI generates a complete introduction message with subject line and body. The message includes a personal note from you at the bottom. The visitor can edit everything, then send it via email, LinkedIn messaging, or copy it to clipboard. Your "Intros drafted" counter increments so you know someone took action.
Q: Is the introduction sent automatically?
A: No. The visitor always controls the final send. The system generates the message and provides convenient send options, but the visitor must actively copy and send or click to open their email client. This ensures every introduction feels personal and intentional.
Q: What if someone shares a shoutout on LinkedIn — will I see it?
A: Your "Shoutouts" counter increments, but you won't receive a notification about the specific post. You can search LinkedIn for mentions of your name or campaign URL to find these posts.
Q: Can I customize the introduction messages visitors generate?
A: You control the inputs: the suggested roles (configured in the Lend a Hand editor), your personal introduction note (appended to every message), your campaign narrative, and your profile information. These shape the AI-generated messages. You cannot edit the template directly, but improving your campaign content and personal note improves the quality of generated introductions.
Q: How does the Encourage button work? Is it anonymous?
A: Yes, Encourage is anonymous. When someone clicks it, the counter increments and they see a thank-you message. You see the total count but not who clicked. Each visitor can only encourage once.
Q: What resume do visitors download?
A: Visitors download your primary resume — the one marked as Primary in your profile. Make sure it's the version you want people to receive before sharing your campaign.
Q: How long should I run my campaign?
A: As long as you're actively searching. Many users keep their campaign running for months, updating the content periodically. Take it offline when you've landed a role — your supporters will be happy to hear the good news!
Q: Can my campaign link expire?
A: No. Your campaign link is permanent and never changes. It remains accessible as long as your campaign is set to Online and your subscription is active. If your subscription lapses or you take the page offline, the link still exists but visitors see a placeholder instead of your content. Reactivate your subscription or toggle back to Online and everything is restored instantly.

Every person who visits your campaign page is someone who already wants to help. The introduction flow, social sharing, and support button turn that goodwill into action. When someone generates an introduction, they're not just being supportive - they're connecting you with a real person who might have a real opportunity. That's the power of a campaign: one link, shared once, can create dozens of warm introductions to people you'd never reach on your own.
