Translate customer data into polished, actionable insight packages, partner with BD and engineering to prioritize customer-informed improvements, and build lightweight AI-assisted automations to streamline reporting.
## Job Description
## Role
Lead a new customer-facing product line end to end, owning vision, strategy, roadmap, and the post-sale relationship for key biopharma accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, consolidate feedback into actionable product priorities, and collaborate with BD and engineering to deliver improvements.
## Key Responsibilities
* Own product vision, strategy, and growth for a new product line. * Maintain a consolidated backlog of customer requests, feedback, and complaints across accounts; identify patterns and translate them into roadmap items. * Prepare and deliver polished, data-driven insight packages and presentations for customer stakeholders. * Serve as the primary post-sale contact for key biopharma accounts and run regular customer check-ins to surface opportunities and flag risks. * Partner with BD and engineering to scope, prioritize, and implement customer-informed improvements. * Support ownership of customer-facing product and tooling; contribute to product management and roadmap decisions. * Build lightweight AI-assisted tools and automations to streamline customer reporting and reduce manual effort. * Collaborate with leadership on account strategy, renewal planning, and expansion opportunities.
## Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in customer success, solutions, forward-deployed engineering, product management, or a related client-facing role; ideally in biopharma, healthtech, or data-driven B2B environments. * Demonstrated ability to independently manage senior stakeholder relationships at large organizations, run proactive account cadences, and handle escalations. * Strong data fluency; comfortable working in spreadsheets and ideally with SQL or Python to pull, clean, and package insights. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience producing customer-facing deliverables such as decks, dashboards, and insight summaries. * Familiarity with AI tools and comfort building lightweight, AI-assisted solutions without heavy engineering support. * Experience translating customer feedback into product requirements and collaborating with engineering to deliver improvements. * Empathy, patient-focus, comfort with ambiguity and rapid change, and an action-oriented mindset.
## Nice-to-haves
* Familiarity with rare disease, genetics, or the biopharma drug development lifecycle. * Experience with patient-facing or healthcare data platforms. * Formal product management experience or prior ownership of a customer-facing platform.
## Compensation & Benefits
* Salary range: $155,000 - $195,000 annually. * Competitive early-stage equity grants. * Generous Flexible Time Off policy. * Parental leave (12 weeks for both birthing and non-birthing). * Hybrid, flexible work with autonomy and a pet-friendly office in Downtown San Francisco. * Company-sponsored team lunch every Thursday; regular team retreats. * “Work from anywhere” policy up to 4 weeks per year. * Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, therapy, FSA, and 401(k).
