## About the Role

SSOE Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex tool-install design and hook-up projects in high-tech semiconductor facilities, managing scope, schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver first-tool readiness and client handovers. The role emphasizes coordination across architects, engineers, contractors, and clients while enforcing safety, cleanroom protocols, and continuous improvement.

## Job Description

## Role

Lead complex, multidisciplinary tool-installation design-build projects in semiconductor fabrication and advanced technology facilities. Ensure designs meet client specifications and project requirements while managing scope, schedule, budget, EHS/cleanroom protocols, and stakeholder alignment from equipment specification through commissioning and handover.

## Key Responsibilities

* Identify, define, and manage scope, schedule, and budgets for tool-install design packages. * Manage end-to-end execution from equipment specifications and utility matrices to final hook-up, commissioning, and client handover. * Develop and maintain detailed tool-level installation schedules to meet “First Tool” and “Ready for Equipment” (RFE) milestones. * Serve as primary contact among design teams, trade contractors, and client tool owners to resolve space management, utility routing, and point-of-connection (POC) conflicts. * Control project budgets and change orders; align procurement of long-lead items with installation sequence. * Enforce EHS standards and cleanroom protocols to protect facility integrity and personnel safety. * Identify and mitigate technical risks (utility capacity, seismic bracing, vibration isolation) for sensitive equipment. * Follow change management procedures for documentation and authorization of change orders. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned to optimize delivery. * Mentor and train other Project Managers on complex design challenges in high-technology projects.

## Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related) preferred. * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired. * 5+ years of project management experience in advanced technology or high-tech engineering projects (semiconductor fabs, data centers, pharmaceutical manufacturing, etc.) preferred. * Proficiency with project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar; experience with resource loading and critical path analysis. * Proven ability to manage cross-cultural, cross-time-zone teams; strong stakeholder communication and governance skills. * Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to perform field verifications and site walks in industrial/construction environments, including elevated access when required.

## AI & Innovation

SSOE provides responsible access to AI Large Language Models and vibe-coding platforms and integrates advanced digital tools into roles. Training and support are provided to leverage AI for productivity, creativity, and workflow streamlining.

## Compensation & Benefits

* Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (commensurate with location, education, and experience). * Leadership bonus program and ownership investment opportunities. * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; employer-paid life insurance; wellness program support. * 401(k) plan with company match. * Professional development funding, PE licensure and certification exam support, and conference attendance. * Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays. * Flexible scheduling within project commitments and a culture supporting work-life balance.

## Work Arrangement

Position is listed as hybrid (#LI-Hybrid); flexible scheduling is supported within project commitments.
