Job Purpose

Leap Event Technology is looking for an experienced, client service minded, and proactive Project Manager to join the team. Project Managers support our top tier clients and are the key to deployments; coordinating with the client and multiple internal departments to ensure all aspects of the project are sequenced appropriately and delivered on time and to spec. We support some of the world’s largest events in the pop-up, convention, festival, and venue spaces, so the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will have a passion for organization, collaboration, and project success.

Key Responsibilities

Manage strategic and complex client-facing and internal projects

Collaborate expertly with Account Manager and all stakeholders to manage and execute projects

Uphold Leap and project processes and standards - ensure proper kickoff protocols are followed and workflows are maintained

Be an expert in our shared Project Management tool and a champion of our shared tools and processes

Assist in maintaining the company-wide Lessons Learned log

Be actively involved in team reporting efforts; contribute to monthly reporting

Assist PMO team members, serve as a resource and guide for project and process advancement

Identify internal and external stakeholders; manage stakeholder engagement

Develop and execute Communication plan

Facilitate cross-product and cross-functional communication

Expertly develop Project Plans; maintain master schedule of deliverables, help teams sequence activities and maintain all shared Project documents

Support teams to monitor and control scope; document Change Requests

Follow appropriate escalation procedures and remove project roadblocks

Maintain risk register

Follow all project closure procedures and conduct internal lessons learned

Autonomously document and share creative solutions and suggest operational and product improvements

Travel to events as needed

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

2+ years Client-facing Project Management experience

3+ years experience in the live events and/or SaaS industry

2+ years project management software experience

2+ years Salesforce experience preferred

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to travel

Capacity to own and execute multiple large-scale programs simultaneously

Must be fluent in English. French and/or Spanish language skills a plus

OFFICE INFORMATION:

Leap Event Technology is a remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Pittsburgh (U.S.), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!

If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.
