Lead the Small Business Card team in shaping cross-portfolio strategies, driving growth, and improving portfolio economics through analytics and stakeholder management.
As the Vice President within Chase Branded Cards in Card Services, a key business within Consumer & Community Banking at JPMorganChase, you will be a leader on the Small Business (SMB) Card team, responsible for shaping and executing cross-portfolio spend and lend strategies and promoting capabilities that accelerates growth, deepens engagement, and improves portfolio economics. You will operate at the intersection of product, analytics, risk, finance, and delivery, translating insights into a clear strategic roadmap and measurable outcomes. The role requires a strong understanding of credit card economics, an interest in customer insights and marketing, and a high degree of curiosity. Job responsibilitiesDefine cross-portfolio strategies that drive premium spend and profitable revolving balances Build and maintain a cross-portfolio roadmap for capabilities such as engagement levers, rewards and redemption experiences, features, user experience, and servicing improvements Translate profit and loss and unit economics into clear decisions on prioritization, sequencing, and expected impact Develop a point of view on small business customer segments, including spend behaviors, revolving behaviors, rewards usage, and industry trends Partner with risk and lending stakeholders to balance growth objectives with portfolio performance and risk appetite Create a test-and-learn agenda, structure experiments, synthesize results, and convert learnings into scalable playbooks Lead through influence by aligning stakeholders, driving decisions, and reinforcing accountability across a multi-quarter roadmap Establish success metrics and reporting to track progress, outcomes, and tradeoffs across initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degree At least 6 years of experience in analytics, finance, strategy, product, or portfolio management Experience in credit card portfolio management and/or lending Strong knowledge of customer insights, profitability drivers, and credit risk metrics (for example, loss rates, approvals, utilization, line management) Demonstrated ability to take a strategy from business case through delivery with a clear measurement plan Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing outcomes in a matrixed environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready storytelling and concise synthesis of complex analysis Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and dependencies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience developing rewards, redemption, or engagement capabilities for card products Experience partnering with product and delivery teams from concept through launch Experience designing and scaling experimentation programs (test design, measurement, and insights translation) Familiarity with small business customer segments and spend or lending behaviors
