About this role

Company Description

At MSL, we’re on a mission to make every client more influential and a positive force of influence in the(ir) world. Why? Because we know that influence = impact and the more influential you are, the more impactful you can be. We’re proud to partner with incredible brands, companies and leaders who want to push boundaries and create change – and we’re looking for passionate creators and storytellers who want to do the same. But it’s not just our work (and the awards we win for it) that energizes us, it’s who we are as a team. A team of powerhouse professionals that is driven by three core values: Leading, Learning and Loving. A team that has ranked us a “Best Place to Work” in the industry year over year.

Overview What we’re looking for: A Vice President, Emerging Media for MSL’s Healthcare Practice.

What you bring to the table: The ideal candidate is a modern communications leader with health expertise and a strong understanding of the creator, digital, and media ecosystem. They understand how audiences discover, consume, and share information today—and bring fresh thinking to the intersection of earned, social, creator, and digital communications.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker who can also execute, with exceptional relationship-building skills and a track record of developing integrated programs across public relations, health and consumer, influencer marketing, creative partnerships, and digital media. They are curious, connected, and energized by what’s next.

What you’ll do: As a leader within MSL’s Healthcare Practice, you’ll help healthcare brands connect with audiences in new and meaningful ways. Sitting at the intersection of digital and media, you’ll lead communications strategies that blend earned media, creator partnerships, emerging platforms, and digital-first storytelling to build credibility, drive engagement, and shape how stories travel.

You’ll help clients understand not just where conversations happen, but who drives them—from journalists and healthcare creators to subject matter experts, podcast hosts, online communities, and other influential voices. As a trusted advisor, you’ll translate emerging trends and changing audience behaviors into actionable strategies, building integrated programs that deliver measurable communications and business impact while expanding MSL’s capabilities in modern media, creator engagement, and audience-first storytelling.
