New River Systems is seeking a ServiceNow Project Manager, Mid to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ServiceNow projects supporting Defense and Intelligence Community customers. The Project Manager is responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring successful implementation of ServiceNow capabilities aligned with mission and business objectives.
The Project Manager serves as the primary interface between government stakeholders, program leadership, and technical delivery teams. This role requires strong project management discipline, ServiceNow delivery experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through the complete project lifecycle using Agile, Hybrid Agile, or traditional project management methodologies.
At the Mid level, the Project Manager independently manages moderate-to-large ServiceNow projects, coordinates multiple workstreams, facilitates team execution, and ensures contract and customer requirements are successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of ServiceNow projects from initiation through deployment and operational transition.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource forecasts, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate activities among ServiceNow developers, architects, business analysts, testers, and customer stakeholders.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Identify and resolve project issues while escalating risks appropriately.
- Prepare and present project status reports, executive briefings, and customer updates.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, contractual requirements, and customer expectations.
- Support release planning, deployment coordination, change management, and user adoption activities.
- Track project metrics and performance indicators to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate with customer leadership to prioritize requirements and manage evolving mission needs.
- Support proposal development, project estimates, staffing plans, and transition activities as required.
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, risk registers, action item trackers, and lessons learned repositories.
- Foster collaborative relationships across government and contractor organizations.

Required Experience
- 5+ years of project management experience in enterprise IT environments
- Minimum 3 years supporting ServiceNow projects
- Experience managing software implementation or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within Federal, DoD, Intelligence Community, or other regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate diverse technical teams.
- Experience developing project schedules, risk management plans, and status reporting processes.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required

Required Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master
- ITIL 4 Foundation
- DoD 8570/8140 certification as required by task order
Desired Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in any module
- SAFe Agilist
- PMI-ACP
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud certification
Salary Range: $140-170,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position
