We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our Site Civil team in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who has a strong foundation in land development and is ready to expand their leadership, project management, and client-facing skills in a collaborative environment.

You will play a key role on diverse site / civil projects across the public and private sectors, helping clients solve complex challenges through thoughtful, high-quality engineering solutions.

Typical projects include site civil design for residential, energy, commercial, higher education, and industrial developments, offering ongoing exposure to technically diverse and challenging work.

Responsibilities What You’ll Do

Lead multidisciplinary design teams through all phases of project delivery, including stormwater management, grading, and utility design.

Provide technical guidance on utility and drainage modeling, ensuring practical, efficient, and constructible solutions.

Review and oversee engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation, upholding Dewberry’s high standards of quality.

Permit projects through local Authority’s Having Jurisdiction and the State Water Management Districts

Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting business development and marketing efforts for new and expanded services.

Prepare project scopes, schedules, and fee proposals, with accountability for budgets and delivery.

Manage projects from concept through construction completion, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Participate in field meetings and provide support during construction.

Mentor and support staff development, sharing technical expertise and reinforcing a collaborative team culture.

Required Skills & Required Experience What You Bring

BS in Civil Engineering required

Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required

8+ years of experience in site civil or land development design and construction

Strong working knowledge of stormwater, drainage, and utility modeling

Experience in higher education and/or energy projects is a plus

Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to project teams and reviewers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to effectively work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedules

Ability to work and thrive in a team environment in the office.

Advanced ability with AutoCAD or MicroStation and Microsoft Office

Advanced experience with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and ICPR
