Your day as a Project Manager

Oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects

Collaborate with various teams to ensure project success, from participating in steel detailing to creating comprehensive schedules

Review specifications, preparing critical documents, and maintaining detailed reports to track progress

Prepare and negotiate change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.

Maintain effective communication and strong client relationships

Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and other project stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience

Prior Project Management experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals

A valid US driver's license is required

Knowledge of AISC and PCI standards is preferred

Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred

Understanding mathematics and possessing basic field tools for measurements

Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost control standards and procedures

Knowledge of materials methods and tools involved in steel construction

Knowledge of Tekla and Fabtrol software programs is preferred
