Help Zen Find Their Next HR Role A passionate advocate for engagement and inclusivity in workplaces
About
Zen is the rare blend of culture-builder and calm, human-first operator. They are at their best when people need clarity, belonging, and a path forward, whether that is a new hire walking into orientation, a team navigating tough conversations, or a community trying to build trust.
They have already proven they can earn buy-in and lead with empathy in high-visibility environments. At Apple, Zen became the first seasonal employee trusted to lead multiple inclusion initiatives, including a workplace presentation on the CROWN Act to help teams understand cultural context and reduce harmful interactions. They also partnered with a manager and a grassroots organization through an official program and hosted an on-site event for 70+ employees.
This moment is right because Zen is intentionally building the HR foundation to match their real-world strengths. They are actively volunteering with NHRA-SV, hosting new member orientations, and turning feedback into insights, while completing a Human Resource Management certificate through UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, expected in about 4 months. Zen is ready for a paid role where they can keep doing what they do best, helping people feel respected, supported, and motivated to stay.
