I make finance feel boring, even when everything else is moving fast.

I’m at my best when a company is growing, changing systems, or facing new scrutiny, and the finance team needs steadiness without slowing the business down. I’ve worked in regulated environments where mistakes are expensive, and in transformation work where the process has to evolve, not just the reporting. What I enjoy most is building a close and control environment people trust, then making it faster, cleaner, and easier to run.

I help teams get to an "audit-ready" operating rhythm, faster close, clearer reconciliations, cleaner support, fewer surprises. At one point I helped compress month-end close from 17 days to 10 days, not with heroics, but by putting governance, ownership, and repeatable structure around the work.

I’ve also operated in places where controls and regulatory expectations are not optional. As a Series 27 FINOP, I’ve lived the reality of net capital and regulator-facing reporting, and I bring that same discipline to ICFR, documentation, and readiness for SOC and SOX.

On the systems side, I’m not just a spreadsheet controller. I’ve co-led a $1.3M technology initiative scaling to 500+ users, partnered tightly with technology teams, driven UAT, and documented processes so the improvements stick after go-live, not just during a project.
