Gee Automotive is seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead all dealership operations, drive profitability, develop high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional customer experience. This role is responsible for achieving financial objectives, cultivating a winning culture, and positioning the dealership for long-term success.

The ideal candidate will be a proven automotive executive with a track record of driving dealership profitability, operational excellence, and sustained growth. They possess a deep understanding of dealership financials, departmental performance management, talent development, and have demonstrated success increasing revenue, controlling expenses, and improving bottom-line results. General Manager Job Responsibilities

• Lead all dealership operations, including Sales, Fixed Operations, Finance & Insurance, Customer Experience, and Administration.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market penetration across all departments.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales and financial objectives.
• Monitor and analyze key dealership performance metrics, implementing corrective action when necessary.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain top dealership talent.
• Foster a high-performance, accountable, and customer-focused culture.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers, community partners, and manufacturer representatives.
• Oversee dealership budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and expense controls.
• Promote exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on growth initiatives, operational improvements, and succession planning.

General Manager Benefits and Compensation

Expected Annual Compensation: $240,000 - $500,000 per year. Top-performing General Managers may earn compensation above this range through performance-based incentive programs.

Required Qualifications

• Successful track record as a General Manager, General Sales Manager, Dealer Principal, or senior dealership executive in a franchised automotive dealership.
• Demonstrated ability to drive dealership profitability and operational performance.
• Strong understanding of variable operations, fixed operations, F&I, and dealership financial statements.
• Proven experience building, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing departmental budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Honda dealership leadership experience.
• Multi-franchise or multi-location management experience.
• Knowledge of automotive retail best practices, compliance requirements, and manufacturer relations.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
