About the role

We are looking for an experienced senior software engineer to join our team and contribute to a number of areas. This role is deliberately broad: you will go where the hardest problem is, rather than owning a single fixed surface.

You may be a good fit if you

• Want to work in person in San Francisco
• Have strong software engineering fundamentals, with experience building production systems end to end
• Have built and operated production systems and can explain the decisions, tradeoffs, and outcomes you owned
• Independently identify important problems, define your own work, and follow through without waiting for a specification
• Bring technical depth and learn quickly when the problem takes you into unfamiliar areas
• Communicate your reasoning clearly and work well with people who will question it

Even better

• You've built a product from scratch or helped shape an early engineering team
• You've shipped agents or other AI systems into production
• You've participated in hackathons
