About this role

Take the technology that’s rebuilding construction off the screen and onto a real site. Who We AreZURU is a reimagination company, building next-generation products and brands across toys, consumer goods, pet science and construction. ZURU Tech is leading the next building revolution. Construction is one of the world’s biggest industries, but it’s one of the last to be transformed by technology. We’re changing that. We’ve spent the past decade rebuilding the process from the ground up, starting with the world’s first BIM software connected directly to fully automated production. It’s software for everyone. Our multidisciplinary engineers combine architecture, structural and civil engineering with software development, and they build that know-how into the platform, so you don’t need to be an expert to design a building. We use AI across our team, with dedicated AI & ML specialists and engineers who use AI agents every day to prototype and ship faster. In the platform, AI handles non-creative decisions and checks designs, that way, users can focus on the design itself. When a design is ready, it goes straight to our automated factory. There, machines and robots we build ourselves make the components with precision, and the components are shipped for fast assembly on site. Software, engineering, robotics and manufacturing all sit under one roof at ZURU Tech, backed by the scale and founder-led drive of ZURU Group: 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, with over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we’re only getting started.

The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Project Manager to run day-to-day delivery and project administration on a masterplanned community at Waikoloa on Hawaiʻi Island, supporting each increment and phase from concept design, earthworks, and civil infrastructure through to completed homes and closeout. You’ll also support residential projects in California as needed.

The Impact You'll MakeYou’ll report to the Project Management Lead, who owns overall project delivery and the master programme, and you’ll have delegated authority to direct consultants and contractors on day-to-day matters. You’ll work closely with our internal and external architectural, engineering, and product development teams.

What You'll DoCoordinate day-to-day activities from internal design, permitting, and procurement through civil and home construction to handover

Run project, consultant, and OAC meetings, and track actions to completion

Manage the integrated schedule and critical path for each increment, phase, or project, tracking against baseline and flagging delays early. Project-level schedules roll up into the master programme owned by the Project Management Lead.

Align ZURU’s prefab manufacturing and logistics delivery dates with on-site deliverables in the integrated schedule

Manage project cost control: budgets, cost tracking, change orders, pay applications, and cost-to-complete forecasts

Prepare bid packages and scopes of work, coordinate bid processes, and administer consultant and contractor contracts

Review and process invoices and maintain payment records

Assist with coordination of permitting, and track submittals and approvals

Maintain risk and issue logs, escalating to the Project Management Lead with a clear view of impact

Report regularly on schedule, cost, risks, and decisions required, and maintain project records and document control

What You'll Bring5+ years of project management or project coordination experience on construction or development projects

Experience across the full project lifecycle, from design through closeout

Proficiency with scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar) and project budgets

Experience administering construction and consultant contracts, change orders, and pay applications

Working knowledge of US permitting and entitlements

Strong organization, follow-through, and written communication

Proactive user of AI tools

A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Willingness to travel regularly to Hawaiʻi and internationally, and to attend early or late meetings across time zones

Who thrives at ZURUThis isn't a 9-to-5. We move fast, think big and set goals most companies would call impossible, then go after them. The people who thrive here are entrepreneurs at heart. They own their work, chase bold ideas and never stop raising the bar. At ZURU, you drive your career, and we give you the platform to take it as far as you can. There are opportunities here that you won’t find anywhere else, and you'll be surrounded by talented people who make things happen. We're a true meritocracy: we reward impact, not tenure.

How we workBig ideas happen when great people work side by side, so we're office-first by design. Being together means faster collaboration, sharper decisions and stronger teams, and it's where the real learning happens. Some flexibility may be available depending on the role, location and business needs, but most roles are office-based. Want to see what life at ZURU really looks like?
