As we continue to expand, we are embarking on a pivotal project to implement NetSuite, a leading cloud-based business management software suite.

Position:

CHAMPRO is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to provide support for our company's strategic initiatives. In this role, you will take the lead on smaller-scale projects while providing essential support on larger, more complex programs, and will work day-to-day alongside our existing Project Manager and Business Process Analyst.

We are looking for a versatile and organized professional with a servant leader mindset, who can apply core project management principles to a diverse portfolio. This includes IT and software development initiatives, product creation and delivery projects, and internal process improvement or construction projects. This position requires a proactive self-starter with a passion for organization and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Beyond daily project work, this is an opportunity to help grow CHAMPRO's Enterprise Project Management Office at a pivotal stage of its development. Foundational governance standards and processes are already in place; you'll help extend, refine, and operationalize them as the department scales to support a growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle for assigned projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and oversee the successful execution of projects.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure project success.
• Budget Management: Develop, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints and reporting on variances.
• Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including team members, materials, and equipment, to optimize project performance.

Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership

• Stakeholder Management: Proactively communicate with and manage expectations of all project stakeholders, including senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• Team Leadership: Provide servant leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment by removing obstacles and encouraging growth.
• Department Coaching: Coach department-led project teams on EPMO governance standards, building their capability to self-manage over time.

EPMO Governance & Reporting

• Process Improvement: Actively support the EPMO Director in the development and standardization of project management processes, templates, and tools.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present detailed project reports and presentations to leadership, providing insights into project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
• Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) and an Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe) are highly desirable upon hiring. The successful candidate will be required to obtain both PMP and a relevant Agile certification within the first 12 months of employment.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from inception to completion.
• Project Versatility: Proven experience managing a diverse project portfolio, including IT and software development, product creation and delivery, and other operational or process improvement projects. Must demonstrate strong core skills in project execution, strategic alignment, and budget management regardless of project type.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, driven by a strong servant leader philosophy, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
• Critical Thinking: Able to analyze tradeoffs, evaluate options under uncertainty, and bring a recommended path forward rather than just surfacing problems.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with a work management platform (e.g., Smartsheet, monday.com, Wrike, or similar) and collaboration suites, particularly Google Workspace.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
