Software Engineer, iOS

About this role

About the RoleJoin the mobile engineering team at a consumer creator marketplace and help build and scale its iOS app. You will own features from early ideas through launch, shaping a polished product experience for creators. What You'll DoBuild and ship native iOS features using Swift, owning their full lifecycle from concept to launch.

Define and evolve the app's architecture as the mobile team grows.

Create fast, polished interfaces and interactions for creators.

Debug production issues and improve app reliability and performance.

Establish engineering practices and standards for mobile development.

What We're Looking ForOne to five or more years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.

Strong hands-on knowledge of iOS fundamentals, the iOS SDK, Xcode, and software architecture.

Experience building or scaling consumer iOS apps, using MVVM or similar patterns.

Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.

Ability to take ownership, work independently through ambiguity, and deliver projects end to end.

Strong product instincts and attention to detail in UI and user experience.

Experience in a startup, marketplace, or design-focused consumer product environment is valuable.

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $130,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LocationOn-site in New York, New York.
