Amaltash is building an AI-native wealth platform. People describe an investing idea in plain English; our agents turn it into rules-based code that runs in an isolated environment, with risk rules that can move a portfolio to cash, gold or T-bills when volatility rises. The role

Own the systems that have to be fast and correct at once: market data, order routing and the engine that runs every strategy.

What you will do

• Design low-latency services for market data and order flow.
• Profile, measure and remove the slowest path, release after release.
• Set the engineering bar through design reviews and code.

What you bring (10+ years)

• 10+ years in software, with high-performance or low-latency systems in production.
• Expert in at least one of C++, Rust, Go or Java, plus Python.
• Systems you built that are measured in microseconds or millions of events.

Big bonus

• You work, or have worked, in fintech, wealth management, brokerage or trading.
• You invest your own money and have used Wealthfront, Betterment, Robinhood or similar, and wanted more control than they give you.
• Trading, exchange or market-data infrastructure experience.

Pay

$250K - $320K / yr base, plus equity. Hybrid, San Francisco, California, United States.

Salary
