What is Spade?Financial institutions process billions of transactions every day across cards, ACH, wires, and third party aggregators. But most of that data is difficult to use. Descriptions are inconsistent, merchant names don’t match, and categories vary by payment type. Spade is a data and AI platform that turns messy transaction strings into structured, verified records — and gives teams the tools to act on it across authorization, attribution, analytics, and AI initiatives. The OpportunityAs our first Product Manager dedicated to our enrichment product, you'll drive improvements and define the future of a core product that enriches hundreds of billions of dollars in transaction volume every month. Working closely with our CEO, data, and engineering teams, you'll help optimize for massive scale as our product grows within the world's largest banks and fintechs. This role is ideal for a technical PM who wants high ownership in a fast-moving environment, while supporting a huge customer base. What will you be doing?Lead our core enrichment product vertical, collaborating with our engineering and data science teams to deliver high-quality products for our financial customers

Ensure the product scales reliably as it serves billions of API calls each month

Engage directly with customers, both through sales and your own conversations, to gather feedback

Own the roadmap for next-generation enrichment products, from priority-setting through delivery

Collaborate with product marketing to coordinate product launches and ongoing marketing

What experience, skills, and qualifications are necessary?Must Have:5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with some time in a fintech or payments company

Proven track record of building or launching B2B products end-to-end, from early ideation through delivery and iteration

Strong technical fluency with API and data products: you can partner effectively with engineers and make informed trade-off decisions

Comfortable defining process and roadmap from scratch. You won't inherit a backlog; you'll build one

Exceptional communicator: you can make complex ideas feel simple for both technical and non-technical audiences

Based in NYC with the ability to work from our Flatiron office at least 2 days/week

Nice to Have:Experience at a startup (seed to Series C)

Direct experience with transactional data

Comfort engaging with customers from early-stage fintechs to enterprise banks
