Role
Ring seeks an AI-native Senior Builder (Product Manager) to own end-to-end development of new device experiences that improve neighborhood safety. This role combines technical product management with hands-on full-stack development across app, cloud, and device firmware, with responsibility from ideation through production launch.
Key Responsibilities
Build rapid functional prototypes and launch features using AI-coding tools (e.g., Cursor) and Git workflows.
Validate early features using automated internal data analysis, marketplace and competitive research.
Lead multi-contributor engineering workstreams across app, cloud, and device firmware, directing technical work and using GenAI tools to accelerate delivery.
Define product requirements and prioritize trade-offs among customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational support load.
Identify and resolve strategic and tactical issues that impede goal achievement.
Lead next-generation connectivity, device power, and notification experiences.
Identify and automate repetitive cross-functional workflows using agentic workflows.
Define and sponsor AI-native systems and standards for product work across Ring, including validation practices for AI-generated output.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or product management, including developing AI-powered applications.
Demonstrated experience using LLMs and AI coding tools (vibe-coding) for strategy definition, requirements gathering, data analysis, UX design, and iterative development.
Demonstrated experience building applications that incorporate GenAI (e.g., LLM calls, RAG, agentic workflows, evals).
Demonstrated ability to champion the voice of the customer from idea to launch.
Experience leading cross-team or cross-functional workstreams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience engaging with emerging/frontier AI capabilities before they are mainstream and developing them into shipped product.
