Our read
What it needs
This role is for an engineer who can build both the screens people use and the services behind them, across web and desktop apps. A strong candidate has a few years of real fullstack work, is comfortable with React and TypeScript on the front and a backend language like Node.js, Java, or Python, and understands core computer science well. Clear communication and the habit of owning a project from start to finish matter just as much as the code.
How it fits the AI era
AI tools can speed up routine coding, tests, and debugging, so more of the value comes from judgment: choosing good designs, reviewing code with care, and spotting where things break at scale. The product turns conversations into useful output, so the human work is shaping an experience people trust and finding the right moments for the product to help. Understanding what users actually need stays with the people on the team.
How it builds AI experience
Working here means building the interface and services around a product that turns meetings, emails, and messages into summaries and searchable insights. That gives hands-on exposure to how AI results are shown to users, how integrations with meeting and messaging tools work, and how an AI product behaves at large scale. Someone without AI experience could prepare by building a small app that takes a transcript and presents a summary with action items.
