Your Role at impact.com:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at impact.com, you'll work on a global team, building real time data processes at-scale. You can be part of the design and build of distributed systems with an opportunity to become an expert in the field.

We work with many of the world’s best-known brands - you will be directly building the product we are selling to these companies.

What You'll Do:

Deliver new product features using agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot) as a core part of your daily workflow

Write clear specs and prompts, break work into agent-sized tasks, and guide agents to high-quality results

Critically review, test, and debug agent-generated code, so that everything you ship meets our standards for correctness, security, and maintainability

Design, code, and automate tests for new product features, by hand when it's the right tool

Resolve real-world challenges for brands on our Partnership Platform

Address complex technical engineering issues related to scale and performance

Engage directly with the Product team and other engineers to gather and understand requirements

Help the team improve how we work with agents by sharing prompts, workflows, and lessons learned

Be part of an agile team process and continuous improvement

Collaborate with remote team members using tools like Slack and Zoom

Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the team's commitment to own production

What You Bring:

4+ years of experience in programming using open source technologies

Strong engineering fundamentals. You can read, write, and debug code without an agent, and you know when an agent's output is wrong

Hands-on experience with, or genuine enthusiasm for, AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot

Strong communication skills, including the ability to express intent precisely in writing, which is the foundation of working well with agents

A problem-solver, eager to address challenges and deliver solutions

Thrives independently and when collaborating within a team

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
