Role
Program Manager II, Infrastructure Resource Planning for Google Ads and Commerce. Own the plan of record for commerce infrastructure resource needs and partner with engineering, product, and SRE teams to convert business growth plans into resource growth requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and own the infrastructure resource plan of record for the commerce business.
- Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to translate growth plans into capacity and supply requirements.
- Aggregate, articulate, and explain needs and tradeoffs (e.g., cost, reliability) to stakeholders to secure resources.
- Drive communication cadence and alignment across cross-product-area discussions and negotiations.
- Build tooling and leverage AI to automate and simplify resource management processes.
- Identify risks, manage schedules, and report progress to cross-functional partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience planning in a data center infrastructure environment (e.g., capacity planning, supply chain planning).
- Experience with supply chain management.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in Product Area Resource Manager (PARM) / infrastructure planning.
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with programming (examples include SQL and AI vibe coding).
- Strong analytical aptitude and experience working with large datasets.
Compensation & Benefits
- US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
