STLabs is an AI service management platform that resolves employee requests end-to-end, grounded in a living model of the enterprise. This matters because we're able to resolve requests with full context - the people, systems, services, and policies that define how an organization actually runs. Requests that used to take days of back-and-forth resolve in minutes, right where employees already work.

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented mid-level Product Designer to lead the design of our next-generation Service Management product. In this role you will define how our self-service AI agent interacts with customers, prototype new ways for our product to adapt and respond to customer requests, and help redefine what service management means in the AI era.

We're looking for someone who designs and learns by building. You should be comfortable using AI coding tools to create and share interactive prototypes, explore multiple design directions, refine your ideas with your team and test them directly on customers.

Responsibilities

You will...

• Lead the design of our next-generation Service Management product.
• Use AI coding tools to explore, refine, and share your work—and push your craft.
• Build prototypes that you can test directly on customers.
• Define AI-driven experiences, including conversational flows and dynamic UIs.
• Collaborate with engineering & product to shape product direction.
• Help define and grow our design system.
• Iterate quickly in a high-velocity startup environment, embracing ambiguity and continuous learning.

Qualifications

You should have...

• 3-6+ years of product design experience working on professional tools.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both your exceptional craft and use of AI coding tools to push it.
• Fluency in, and passion for, understanding how products and design processes are changing in the AI era. We want to see where you look for inspiration.
• A deep appreciation for the value of both giving and receiving design critique as part of a high-performing team. Feedback is a gift, and how you give and receive it defines the culture of a Design team.
• Mastery of atomic design principles and component-based UI architectures
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
• Bonus: experience designing data visualizations and/or working with graph databases.
• Bonus: experience working in IT operations, ITSM, DevOps, or complex enterprise domains.

The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role at is: $140,000—$180,000 USD
