Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provide senior-level operations and project management support for high-visibility, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, including development of charters, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics.
Establish and maintain integrated project schedules and tracking tools to ensure accountability and transparency.
Monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Rapidly assess requirements, develop execution plans, and deliver results within defined timelines.
Serve as the primary coordination point across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, working groups, and executive briefings to drive alignment and decision-making.
Prepare clear, concise, and leadership-ready communications, including weekly executive-level status reports.
Provide high-level administrative support to enable efficient operations and project execution.
Develop professional, decision-quality meeting materials, including agendas, detailed notes, and clearly defined action items.
Capture and document key decisions, risks, issues, and dependencies from meetings and engagements.
Maintain and track action items, taskers, and follow-up to ensure timely completion and accountability.
Manage and organize project documentation and records in accordance with Government standards and records management policies.
Develop and maintain centralized documentation repositories (e.g., SharePoint or shared drives) for project artifacts.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, concise, and formatted for leadership consumption.
Provide after-action reports, lessons learned, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Strengthen project governance, tracking, and accountability mechanisms across initiatives.
Analyze workflows and implement data-driven process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.
Provide leadership with actionable insights on project performance, risks, and resource considerations.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, management, or related field.
At least 10 years of experience managing projects and performing duties like those outlined in section 5.2. Project Management Professional certification.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder, cross‑functional projects.
Proven ability to deliver leadership‑ready communications, briefings, and weekly executive updates. Experience with the Federal Government is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including project management tools.
