Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced **Project Manager** to plan, coordinate, and execute projects from start to finish. You’ll work closely with clients, operations, and internal teams to keep projects **on time, on budget, and on track** while delivering exceptional results.
### 🎯 What You’ll Do
* Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. * Coordinate Operations, Service, Engineering, Procurement, and other teams. * Track project progress, milestones, budgets, and risks. * Identify issues and implement solutions to keep projects moving. * Communicate project status, financial performance, and risks to clients and leadership. * Review contracts, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and compliance. * Manage change orders, scope changes, and project documentation. * Ensure projects meet company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. * Maintain accurate project records and reporting. * Participate in an **on-call rotation** for project escalations and emergency needs. * Perform other duties as assigned.
### ⭐ What You Bring
* **Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of project management experience** in construction, fire protection, or technical services. * PMP or equivalent certification preferred. * Knowledge of **NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriters’ requirements, and applicable building codes** preferred. * Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. * Proficiency with **Microsoft Office.** * Experience with project management software such as **MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent** preferred. * ERP system experience preferred.

* Combination of office and field work. * Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach. * Ability to lift up to **25 lbs.**
