About the RoleLead an engineering team building and improving AI agents for customer support within a B2B conversational AI platform. This role combines technical leadership, customer partnership, and hands-on problem solving to deliver reliable systems at scale. What You'll DoLead, mentor, and grow engineers building AI agents for complex customer interactions.

Work with enterprise customers to understand operational challenges and develop scalable agent solutions.

Guide deployments from initial implementation through ongoing iteration and optimization.

Partner with product, design, and research teams to identify shared customer needs and inform platform direction.

Help set technical strategy and maintain a high bar for quality, ownership, and execution.

What We're Looking ForAt least 5 years of software engineering experience and at least 1 year leading or managing engineers.

Backend or product engineering experience, including work on customer-facing products or complex distributed systems.

Proficiency in Python and production experience with TypeScript and asynchronous programming.

Ability to investigate failures across complex technology stacks and communicate effectively with enterprise customers.

Experience with AI systems, LLM applications, agentic workflows, or multimodal models is valuable.

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $300,000 to $360,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LocationOn-site in New York, New York.
