A rapidly growing general contractor is seeking an experienced **Project Manager** to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to take ownership of commercial and general construction projects while working with a growing organization that is expanding its project portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion, with proven experience overseeing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, clients, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage commercial and general construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. * Take overall responsibility for project budgets, schedules, contracts, and successful delivery. * Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, engineers, and internal project teams. * Review construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. * Develop and maintain detailed project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving potential delays. * Monitor project costs, commitments, billing, and overall financial performance. * Lead regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with owners, clients, design teams, and trade partners. * Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget. * Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship. * Manage the change order process and assist with contract administration. * Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. * Support project closeout, punch list completion, final documentation, and turnover.

Requirements

* 5+ years of construction project management experience, ideally within commercial or general construction. * Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion. * Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, contracts, budgets, and cost control. * Experience managing subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. * Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. * Proficiency with construction project management and scheduling software. * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
