Minimum Qualifications

Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers 8+ years of, or PhD + 4 years of software engineering work experience, including hands on technical management 2+ years of experience in managing a team of engineers with varied skill levels Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations, including performance management

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Hands-on technical management building large scale distributed systems

$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
