General Manager – Wendy’s
Pittsburgh, PA | $60,000–$70,000 + Quarterly Bonus
Ready to run your own restaurant with one of the fastest-growing franchise organizations in the country? A leading multi-brand franchisee with 230+ restaurants across eight states is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a Wendy’s in the Pittsburgh metro.
The Pittsburgh market is a growing region with 15+ locations, and the company is bringing in seasoned GM talent to build bench strength. Training stores are within 20 minutes.
This organization is in an aggressive growth phase and has earned industry recognition as a top operator. Its philosophy is to invest in people and facilities, not cut corners. With Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and a fast-growing beverage concept in the portfolio, strong GMs have real career paths most franchisees can’t offer.
This is a hands-on, in-position leadership role, not a clipboard job.
What You’ll Do
Lead the restaurant: manage day-to-day operations across all dayparts while maintaining QSC standards, drive-thru times, and a top-tier guest experience
Own the P&L: control food, labor, and paper costs, drive sales against budget and prior year, and deliver controllable profit against bonus targets
Develop the team: recruit, train, coach, and review AGMs, shift managers, and crew, and build a bench strong enough to promote from within
Champion brand standards: lead food safety training, hit top-level operations evaluation results, and roll out new products and brand programs on schedule
Hit the numbers: manage to sales, controllable profit, and customer survey targets that drive your quarterly bonus
What You Bring
3+ years of General Manager experience in a fast food restaurant with a drive-thru
Strong P&L command (food, labor, and controllable profit) and the ability to read a period flash and act on it
A hands-on operator who works alongside the team, with a track record of developing crew, shift leaders, and AGMs
ServSafe certification, or the ability to obtain it upon hire
High school diploma or GED
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
What You’ll Get
$60,000–$70,000 base salary
Quarterly bonus with a $7,200 annual target; high performers earn $13,000+
Medical, dental, and vision benefits
401(k) with a 50% match up to 5%
Two weeks of vacation, rising to three at 5 years and four at 10 years
Paid birthday off
