### Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. * 8 years of experience in program management. * Experience leading technically cross-functional projects across multiple organizations. * Experience with embedded systems and cross-functional collaboration.

### Preferred qualifications:

* 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. * Experience managing software for consumer electronics, including hardware and software programs with embedded chip and Android software development. * Experience in release management, specifically with the Android operating system. * Experience applying program management principles and tools to build complex plans and track execution progress. * Experience proposing and landing process improvements to scale execution.

### About the job

The Pixel Device Software (SW) team is responsible for the core software running on Google first-party devices such as Pixel Phones, consisting of major software subsystems such as graphics, display, audio, Ambient, sensors, authentication, security, etc.

In this role, you will track overall software development for Pixel devices, from concept to launch. This includes planning for product roadmap, software development (pre and post silicon and in-market) and releases; managing milestones readiness, and collaborating with cross-Product Area/functional teams (Hardware, Software, Carriers, Android, UX, testing, and Product) to deliver the products on time with high quality.

You will epitomize the philosophy that huge gains are made in the long run by focusing on the right details now. We lead complex, global, multi-disciplinary projects on fixed schedules. Our work is equal parts technical, strategic, and executional. You will be equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as they are discussing technical trade-offs with engineers. We have a vibrant roadmap with exciting new agentic features that are launching Pixel phones and accessories into a category of their own.

As a Technical Program Manager on this team, you will be responsible for managing planning and execution of end-to-end product features and Pixel devices. You'll work with our cross-functional Hardware, Software, Product management as well as external Pixel partners teams, effectively collaborate across geographies to deliver high quality features to our users.

### Responsibilities

* Manage complex, large-scale software projects and cross-functional initiatives, interfacing with engineering managers and engineers across hardware and software to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources. * Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders. * Remove obstacles proactively to drive momentum and progress, identifying communication gaps and managing issue escalations to support teams balancing engaged priorities. * Propose technical alternatives by understanding technical implementation at the architecture level, and clarify priorities to push the team to be highly effective. * Collaborate with leads and partners to ensure software and roadmap feature alignment for current and future programs.
