What the role actually is

Zipline is hiring a technical program manager in South San Francisco to run privacy and trust programs across product, engineering, legal, security, operations, and commercial teams.

The role sits at the product operations layer of autonomous delivery: turning privacy, security, and consumer rights requirements into technical requirements, workflows, and repeatable operating mechanisms.

What you would work on

• Own consumer rights request workflows such as deletion, access, correction, opt-out, and related DSAR processes
• Coordinate privacy and trust requirements across product, data, security, legal, support, and commercial teams
• Keep data maps, inventories, flows, and process documentation current across marketplaces, partner integrations, operations tools, and vendors
• Build metrics, playbooks, escalation paths, and operating processes for privacy and trust operations

• Technical program management, privacy operations, security program management, compliance operations, or product operations experience
• Experience with privacy programs, data retention, deletion workflows, data governance, or consumer rights request systems
• Ability to translate legal and compliance requirements into practical technical and operational plans
• Comfort partnering with engineering teams on data flows, APIs, stores, event logs, access controls, and internal tooling
