Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of security system installation projects from initiation through closeout. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing project timelines and resources using Jira and Smartsheet, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for security system installations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Track project tasks, milestones, and deliverables using Jira and Smartsheet
• Coordinate with technicians, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery
• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders
• Facilitate project kickoff, status, and closeout meetings
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and client requirements
• Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project budgets
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–4 years of professional project management experience (internships and co-ops may count toward experience)
• Demonstrated proficiency with Jira and Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification (or actively pursuing)
• Experience in the security systems, low-voltage, construction, or technology installation industry
• Familiarity with budgeting and resource-planning tools
