Description GasWerks, Columbus, OH has an immediate opening for a full-time Bar & Grill General Manager.  The General Manager is responsible for all of restaurant operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, ensuring quality food presentation and fantastic guest experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Overseeing both Front of House and Back of House Operations
• Interviewing, training and coaching co-workers.
• Completing all related fiscal management processes.
• Scheduling co-workers to provide for optimal guest experiences.
• Providing leadership and being a role model for all co-workers.
• Serving and/or bartending shifts
• Resolving guest concerns
• Providing oversight for large party bookings, special events and company specials
• Providing outstanding guest engagement and ensuring quality plate presentation.
• Setting high expectations for co-worker performance and ensuring all policies and practices are followed.

Requirements Requirements:

• Previous restaurant or bar experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outstanding organization and time management skills
• Highly motivated for success
• Engaging personality and ability to lead by example
• Desire to grow with a rapidly expanding company, currently located in 10 states

Qualifications and Skills

• At least two years of bartending or serving experience in full-menu restaurants
• At least one year managerial or supervisory experience in restaurant industry
• A desire to grow as a leader and to daily be better than you were the day before.
