POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Accelerator Business Partner to serve as a strategic enterprise partner and connector across functions, helping departments and leaders identify, prioritize, and address complex business challenges through AI-enabled solutions. This role operates as a strategic advisor and co-driver of AI-enabled business transformation, providing leadership across a portfolio of cross-functional AI initiatives from discovery through implementation and scale. Partnering directly with senior and executive leaders and subject matter experts, the Senior Manager shapes priorities, translates operational challenges into practical AI use cases, drives experimentation and adoption, and delivers measurable business value. In addition, the role supports the redesign of workflows and decision -- making processes to better leverage AI and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.

A key expectation of this role is to build organizational capability by enabling business teams and leaders to independently identify and apply AI over time, reducing reliance on centralized support and fostering sustainable, long-term adoption across functions.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy and sound judgment, with responsibility for leading a complex portfolio of work, influencing senior stakeholders , and advancing AI adoption and new ways of working across functions. The ideal candidate brings deep business partnering, strategic problem-solving, program management, and change leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use practices.

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with at least 3 days per week in the New York, NY office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business partnership and problem discovery: Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior and executive leaders across functions, assessing business priorities, diagnosing complex pain points and workflow inefficiencies, and identifying high-value opportunities where AI can improve productivity, decision-making, employee experience, or business outcomes.
• AI opportunity identification and prioritization: Lead the translation of business needs into a strategic portfolio of AI use cases; assess feasibility, business value, risk, organizational readiness, and interdependencies; and partner with senior leaders to recommend priorities, investment recommendations, and roadmaps based on enterprise impact, scalability, and resource requirements, including opportunities to redesign broader workflows.
• Cross-functional leadership: Lead coordination and alignment across business stakeholders and AI, data, technology, privacy, security, legal, and change management partners, working through resolving competing priorities and dependencies to move initiatives from idea through pilot, implementation, and enterprise scale.
• Use case development and implementation support: Lead the definition of business requirements, success metrics, process changes, and adoption plans for AI initiatives. Provide strategic oversight of pilots and proofs of concept, ensuring solutions address meaningful business needs, manage risk, and are designed for sustainable outcomes and scale.
• Change management and adoption: Set and lead change strategies that build awareness, engagement, and readiness across functions. Coach leaders on communicating the purpose and value of AI initiatives, addressing resistance and ambiguity, and reinforcing practical, responsible use in day-to-day work.
• Value measurement and continuous improvement: Establish value frameworks and success metrics across the AI initiatives portfolio, monitor outcomes and adoption, synthesize stakeholder feedback, and translate insights into actions that refine solutions, guide investment decisions, and identify additional opportunities for scale and broader impact.
• AI capability building and self-sufficiency: Develop and advance an enterprise approach to strengthening AI literacy and practical capability across functions by curating and sharing relevant use cases, lessons learned, and resources. Equip leaders and teams to independently identify, prioritize, and apply AI, enabling self-sustaining and scalable adoption over time.
• Governance and responsible use: Guide alignment of AI initiatives with company policies and data privacy, legal, security, and ethical standards. Partner with relevant teams to identify, anticipate and mitigate risk and enable compliant, responsible, and scalable deployment.
• Executive communication: Develop clear, persuasive executive updates, recommendations, business cases, and decision-support materials that enable leaders to evaluate AI opportunities, monitor portfolio progress, understand risks and outcomes, and make informed investment and prioritization decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Organizational Development, Operations, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in business partnership, transformation, consulting, operations, or a related field, including leadership of complex cross-functional portfolios and senior-level stakeholder management.
• Strong experience partnering across multiple departments and influencing senior and executive leaders without direct authority.
• Demonstrated ability to shape decisions, align diverse senior stakeholders, and advance complex, high-impact initiatives in matrixed environments.
• Exceptional ability to diagnose underlying business challenges, frame enterprise opportunities, and translate business needs into actionable strategies, roadmaps, and scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, automation, and related digital capabilities, including the business, operating model, governance, responsible use, risk, and adoption considerations required for enterprise deployment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business implications, investment recommendations for senior leaders, and decisions.
• Strong Advanced portfolio, program, and project leadership skills, including strategic planning, prioritization, resource coordination, issue resolution, governance, and disciplined execution across multiple concurrent initiatives..
• Ability to provide direction in ambiguity, navigate organizational complexity, and lead sustained change in a fast-evolving environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing business cases, defining portfolio-level success metrics, measuring outcomes, and using insights to guide prioritization investment and scaling decisions.
