WE’RE LOOKING FOR A DOER. A TRUE DEALERSHIP OPERATOR. Paradise Chevrolet is seeking a highly driven, hands-on General Manager to lead our dealership operation in beautiful Ventura, California.
We are looking for an operator — someone who understands every moving piece of a successful dealership and knows how to turn opportunity into results.
This is a significant leadership opportunity for an automotive professional who knows how to lead from the front, build a winning culture, develop people, drive profitability and take complete ownership of the operation.
With approximately 100 employees, we need a GM who is visible, engaged, accountable and knows how to get things done.
GM experience is a strong plus, but we are willing to consider an exceptional automotive executive with the leadership ability and proven track record to step into the role.

WE WANT AN OPERATOR The right leader understands the entire dealership operation — people, processes, performance and profitability.

The right General Manager will:
Take complete ownership of dealership performance
Lead and develop approximately 100 employees
Drive sales, gross, CSI, fixed operations and overall profitability
Recruit, train, coach and retain strong managers
Hold department leaders accountable
Maintain strong manufacturer relationships and standards
Identify opportunities and solve problems quickly
Build a competitive, performance-driven culture
Work closely with variable and fixed operations
Be highly visible and engaged throughout the dealership
Lead by example and execute
EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR Strong automotive dealership management experience required
Current or previous General Manager experience is a plus
Proven success operating a high-volume dealership
Strong understanding of dealership financial statements and KPIs
Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and profitability
Experience leading large teams and department managers
Strong knowledge of variable and fixed operations
Exceptional leadership, communication and accountability
