About the RoleJoin a small, high-impact team building AI-powered technology for state and local government. This broad, hands-on role partners closely with company leadership to shape strategy, strengthen operations, and help public agencies work more effectively. What You'll DoWork with company leadership on strategic priorities, fundraising activities, and operational needs.

Own initiatives that help the business run and scale efficiently.

Collaborate with the founding team to shape company growth.

Adopt modern AI tools, including Claude Code, to build efficient, AI-native workflows across the business.

Support the development of technology solutions that improve public-sector operations.

What We're Looking ForAt least 4 years of experience in product, operations, strategy, consulting, or another generalist role.

Experience at an early-stage, venture-backed technology startup, ideally from seed through Series B.

Enthusiasm for fast-moving startup environments and AI-enabled ways of working, including experience learning Claude Code.

A bachelor's degree from a highly selective U.S. university.

Interest in using technology to improve the public sector; government experience or public-sector consulting experience is valuable.

Experience working outside large technology companies and in roles that did not require visa sponsorship.

Comfort with a broad, hands-on role and a fast-paced work environment.

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $130,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. LocationOn-site, five days per week in New York, NY.
