The Opportunity

EY is launching a next-generation Microsoft Enterprise Platform capability within our National Consulting Microsoft Cybersecurity practice. This capability is part of EY’s strategic Microsoft partnership and broader value creation initiative, focused on delivering large-scale, enterprise transformation programs across functions such as finance transformation, supply chain, and digital business solutions.

As part of this team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade Microsoft security solutions. You will contribute as a:

Microsoft Security Solutions Architect, leading solutioning, deal shaping, and pre-sales strategy

Your Key Responsibilities

Responsible for shaping client opportunities, architecting Microsoft-based security solutions, and supporting go-to-market strategy. These leaders focus on solution design, deal execution, and client-centric innovation, as well as delivering security projects, particularly for large-scale Microsoft platform opportunities.

Shared Responsibilities

Lead delivery or solutioning of Microsoft Enterprise Platform engagements across AI, Security, and Cloud

Design and implement enterprise-scale Microsoft security solutions aligned to business outcomes

Act as a team leader, presales subject matter expert, and delivery lead for stakeholders across security, identity, data, and cloud architecture

Collaborate across sales, architecture, and delivery teams to drive successful client outcomes

Support the growth and scaling of EY’s Microsoft Enterprise Platform capability

Solution Architect Responsibilities and Support

Support complex transformation programs and enterprise-scale delivery engagements

Key inputs and scale for solution offerings across AI, Security, and Cloud domains

Drive delivery excellence, governance frameworks, and quality standards

Lead implementations across Microsoft technologies.

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing consulting teams

Support end-to-end enterprise platform solutions across:

Azure (cloud infrastructure and platform services)

Microsoft 365, including Copilot and collaboration platforms

Microsoft Security stack (Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview)

Data and AI platforms

Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure architectures

Support proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level client presentations

Partner with Solution Offering Leads to ensure alignment from sales through delivery

The ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in written form when interacting with clients, senior leaders, technical teams, support staff, vendors, and business partners in both technical and non-technical terms.

The ability to engage with clients by listening to and understanding their needs.

The ability to recognize when to escalate risks, issues, and opportunities to enhance service delivery and increase revenue to appropriate client and EY leadership.

The ability to manage the creation, review, and delivery of high-quality work products, client reports, and presentations.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud, AI, or enterprise technology

Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, AI, or Dynamics

Demonstrated ability to operate across both:

Sales (pre-sales, proposals, solutioning)

Delivery (execution, program leadership)

Experience supporting solutioning, proposals, or pre-sales activities within complex Microsoft environments

Strong client-facing consulting experience managing senior stakeholders

Ideally, you’ll also have:

Microsoft certifications (Azure, Security, AI, or Copilot-related certifications)

Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP

Experience building or scaling practices, offerings, or teams

Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, MITRE, or Zero Trust architectures

Experience supporting AI, data modernization, or cloud transformation initiatives

Additional Requirements

Willingness to travel approximately 25%+, depending on client and engagement needs

The salary range for this job is:

New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $204,800 to $425,500

Bay Area California offices – $213,300 to $443,200

All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $170,600 to $390,000

Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
