My AI - Build Your Personal Knowledge Base for AI-Powered Job Search
Upload documents, websites, and content to train the AI on your professional background, expertise, and communication style for personalized outputs.
# My AI
**My AI lets you build a personal knowledge base by uploading documents, websites, text, and LinkedIn profiles that teach the AI about your professional background, expertise, achievements, and communication style—enabling every AI-generated resume, cover letter, and outreach message to authentically reflect who you are.**
When AI features across Callings.ai generate content for you, they draw from this knowledge base to produce outputs that sound like you wrote them, highlight your actual achievements, and communicate in your authentic voice.

## How My AI Works
**My AI processes your uploaded content into a structured knowledge graph that AI features can query when generating personalized outputs.**
When you upload a document:
1. The system extracts text and analyzes the content
2. AI identifies key information: skills, achievements, projects, companies, locations, and time periods
3. Content is categorized into facets like expertise, communication style, leadership, and impact
4. Evidence is extracted and linked to support each facet
5. This structured data becomes available to all AI features across the platform
The result: when you generate a cover letter or custom resume, the AI can reference specific projects you led, achievements you documented, and phrases you naturally use.
## Accessing My AI
**My AI is located in the My Insights section of your profile.**
From the **My Insights** landing page, click the **My AI** card to access the feature. You'll see two main sections:
| Section | Purpose |
|-----|---------|
| **My Documents** | Upload and manage your content (files, URLs, text, LinkedIn) |

### Document Relationship Options
**When uploading content, specify your relationship to the document to help AI understand your perspective.**

For each piece of content, you can check one or more options:
| Option | When to Use |
|--------|-------------|
| **I contributed to creating this document** | You authored, designed, produced, or significantly contributed to the content |
| **This document is about a project or work I was involved in** | The document describes work you did, a project you led, or results you achieved |
| **This document contains feedback or mentions of my contributions** | The content includes reviews, testimonials, or recognition of your work |
**Why this matters:** These selections help the AI understand whether to treat the content as your voice (creator), your achievements (subject), or third-party validation (testimonial).
### Context Field
**Add context to help AI understand how the document relates to your career.**
The context field accepts free-form text explaining:
- When this work occurred
