See [Setting Preferences](./setting-preferences.md) for complete information on setting up your preferences, including minimum match score, salary requirements, employment type, workplace arrangement, and seniority level. ## Understanding Match Scores ### Match Score Colors The match score badge uses color coding to help you quickly assess job fit: - **Green (80%+)**: Strong match—your background aligns well with the job requirements - **Orange (70-79%)**: Good match—solid alignment with room for some skill gaps - **Red (Below 70%)**: Weaker match—may be a stretch role or less aligned with your experience ### What the Score Means The match score represents how well your resume and background align with the job's requirements. It's calculated by AI analysis comparing: - Your skills and technical competencies - Your work experience and career progression - Your educational background - The job's stated requirements and responsibilities A higher score suggests you're well-qualified for the position, while a lower score might indicate the role requires skills or experience you haven't demonstrated in your resume. ## Job Card Actions ### Add to Tracker Click the **Add** button to save a job to your Job Tracker pipeline. Once added: - The job is saved to your tracker for follow-up - The job will no longer appear in your matching jobs search results - You can track your application progress through various stages ### Don't Show Again Click the **X** or dismiss option to hide a job you're not interested in. This action: - Removes the job from your matching jobs results - Prevents this job from being included in your daily email notifications - Helps keep your job feed focused on relevant opportunities **Note:** This action cannot be undone—the job will be permanently hidden from your search results. ## Job Details View Click on any job card to open the Job Details panel, which provides comprehensive information about the position. ![Job Details Panel](images/job-details-panel.png) The details panel is divided into two sections: a left sidebar with key attributes, and a main content area with the job description. ### Left Sidebar: Job Attributes The left sidebar displays job attributes that are either found directly in the job listing or inferred from its content.
